Recent Events - Early 2017
Last year was a very successful one in terms of the events held, the money raised and the money spent! With the help of grant funding we were able to install a new kitchen, new front doors and new - and much more comfortable - chairs.
This year we are looking to refurbish the hall's porch and start on the major work of redecorating the inside of the hall.

March 4th Mad hatters' Quiz and Buffet
A very well attended quiz with lots of great hats - the best hat prize being won by Heather Duffield after Colin's exciting, if at times opaque, competition. Colin and Heather (Lee's) buffet went down very well, and quickly, and Heather (Duffield) and Katie's home baked cakes rounded off the meal wonderfully. Thanks to Chris, as always for the excellent quiz. Finally, a huge thankyou to everyone who attended for their wonderful generosity that saw us raise a very useful £280 pounds for the hall funds. |
May Fayre
Lots of people came out to welcome the start of May. We had the two beautiful ponies, thank you Katie, who were a top draw for the children. The barbecue sold out and everyone had a very nice time in a very English Village sort of way. Thank you to all who came and a big thank you to everyone who made cakes, sponsored us or donated prizes. An amazing £670.82 raised due to the generosity of Gimingham folks and our friends from nearby villages, all going towards our next task - redecorating the hall! |
Yard Sale
Thank you to everyone who had stalls and everyone who came to browse and walk around the leafy streets of Gimingham. Your efforts raised an excellent £388 for our funds from the sale of maps, bacon baps, our tombola and of course our own stall. Next Event Our Midsummer Quiz and Buffet comes next, on the 17th June. The last one was very well attended so book early to get a table - phone Colin on 01263 720874 or Heather on 01263 721229. |
