Gimingham Village
This website provides information about Gimingham and The Village Hall including bookings and events.
Forthcoming Events
The hall will soon be closed for repairs for approximately 3 months starting on April the 1st - hopefully not an omen!
We hope to have one of our ever popular quizzes before we start the work and we also hope to have an event on the 17th of June, to celebrate The King's Birthday and his Coronation - but held in our rather beautiful churchyard. This year any funds raised will go to the Dogs Trust Charity.
Gimingham Village
Gimingham is a small rural village (pop 662, area 2.3 square miles). There has been a settlement here since at least 400AD and the name, with various spellings, dates back to the Doomsday Book of 1086. Although the village has lost its post office and school it remains a very pretty village with some wonderful buildings including the church and village hall and beautiful flint cottages. Opposite are some useful links including one to Nextdoor which is a very local, social networking site where you can get to know your neighbours. |
